Anchorline Press

About Anchorline Press

Anchorline Press is an independent publishing house dedicated to creating books that steady families, nourish bodies, and restore emotional well-being—especially in seasons when life feels overwhelming.

We believe books can be anchors: practical, compassionate guides that help people return to what matters most—connection, clarity, resilience, and hope.

Our catalog spans three core pillars:

Healthy Eating & Everyday Nutrition

We publish approachable, research-informed guides that help families build healthier relationships with food—without shame, extremes, or overwhelm. From anti-inflammatory eating to kid-friendly nutrition perspectives, our titles focus on realistic habits that support long-term physical and emotional health.

Parenting & Family Leadership

Modern parenting is demanding, nuanced, and often isolating. Anchorline Press specializes in books that move beyond quick fixes and instead help parents lead with confidence, boundaries, and empathy. Our parenting titles draw from developmental psychology, neuroscience, and real-life family dynamics—supporting parents as they raise capable, connected children and strengthen sibling and family relationships.

Self-Care, Creativity & Emotional Wellness

Healing doesn’t always start with words. Through art-based and play-based books—especially coloring and creative mindfulness—we support nervous system regulation, inner-child healing, and moments of calm for readers of all ages. These books are designed to be accessible, comforting, and genuinely enjoyable, whether you’re navigating stress, recovery, or simply craving cozy, screen-free time.

Our Authors & Creators

Anchorline Press is proud to publish voices shaped not only by expertise, but by lived experience.

  • Vivian Buhler, M.D., a former family physician and mother of three (including a pediatric cancer survivor), brings research-driven, connection-based insight to parenting and family wellness. Her work blends medical training, neuroscience, and deep compassion for families facing real-world challenges.
  • Cuddlefish, creator of the Hygge Moments Easy Art Therapy series, designs healing coloring books inspired by resilience, creativity, and hope. Her work—recently featured in USA News—grew from personal experiences navigating childhood cancer and the quiet power of art during difficult moments.
  • Wellspring LifeCare, a team led by doctors with over 25 years of clinical experience, is dedicated to making quality health care accessible to all. Combining modern diagnostics, personalized care, and carefully selected supplements, they provide holistic support through in-person visits and online telemedicine, and extend their expertise to the kitchen with evidence-based guidance on real food, gut health, and anti-inflammatory nutrition that empowers readers to feel healthier, more energized, and supported every day.
  • Baby Genius, a mother and early childhood educator of four children under age six, creates playful, confidence-building learning experiences for young learners. Her work—shaped by years supporting children of all abilities, including gifted and twice-exceptional learners—was inspired by her own family’s journey, discovering how self-directed, joyful learning helps children thrive even in challenging circumstances. Drawing on this experience, she developed the Fun-on-the-Go Learning System, offering practical, creative activities that help kids learn independently, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Though their formats differ, their mission aligns: to help people feel steadier, supported, and less alone.

Our Philosophy

At Anchorline Press, we believe:

  • Growth happens best when people feel safe, seen, and supported
  • Practical guidance should be grounded in science and compassion
  • Creativity is not a luxury—it’s a tool for healing and connection
  • Families don’t need perfection; they need clarity, skills, and grace

We publish books that meet readers where they are—whether that’s at the kitchen table, the coloring desk, or in the middle of a challenging chapter of life.

Who We Publish For

Our books are created for:

  • Parents who want to lead with confidence instead of exhaustion
  • Families navigating health, stress, or major life transitions
  • Adults seeking grounding, self-care, and emotional restoration
  • Children, teens, and caregivers who benefit from creativity and play

Above all, we publish for people who want resources that feel human, not prescriptive.
